Yesterday was a busy day! We started the day by unloading a storage unit for donations for an upcoming charity yard sale. The Four Legged were unhappy to be stuck inside while we unloaded, but they did enjoy checking out all of the donations once I let them out. So many fun things to explore! After a quick change of clothes I was on the road to Ohio for the two legged’s football game. As I loaded coolers and college essentials, such as gushers and pop tarts, into the truck Rufus started giving me the look.
I tried to explain that I would indeed be visiting his buddy, but I couldn’t take him with me. Luckily Big Ed came over to hang out with the Four Legged and I made them a huge batch of ground beef to enjoy for dinner.
It was a long day in Ohio so I did not make it home until almost 10pm. The Four Legged were so excited when I walked in the door and then they picked up the two legged’s scent on my clothes and that happiness faded. Rufus is not happy. He has not “spoken” to me since I got home last night. Riley slept in the family room and Bailey just keeps looking at me with those sad hound dog eyes.
Talk about dramatic! I asked Rufus if he wanted to send a photo to his buddy and the above photo shows his displeasure. Going to be a long Sunday with the Four Legged!
