Holy Humidity Batman! With the temperatures holding steady at 80+ degrees we are stuck inside. I spent the better part of the day painting. I moved into this house 8 years ago and am just getting around to painting the last of the rooms. I call this color “Troop Support Yellow.” Among the dog chaos and work I was able to paint the hallway and two walls on the lower level of the house. Just two more walls to go! The Four Legged have come to realize that they do not like paint and steer clear of the rollers and trays!
The Four Legged spent the day barking at children on the cul de sac and wrestling on the couch. After dinner they pulled out their favorite toys and bounced around. I can’t put into words the noise level of the three of them, but they had fun and it used up some of their energy. Three big dogs stuck in the house while I am trying to work can make for an interesting day.
There are 4 dog bowls we use for water. Riley can only drink from the “Tony the Tiger” Bowl in the family room. He has used that bowl for almost 12 years. We have two back-up identical bowls just in case something would happen to his favorite bowl. Of course Rufus and Bailey drink the water from that bowl all day long. My hands are covered in paint and Riley is pounding his feet on the floor because there is no water. He could walk over to one of the other bowls, but that will never happen! Life with Riley is always interesting…
