Don’t Call Animal Control

The Four Legged spent yesterday morning cleaning the house and getting ready to celebrate Father’s Day!  After cleaning up it was time to start cooking.  As soon as I pulled the ground beef from the fridge my helper, Rufus, was by my side.  It is not easy to work with ground beef and a 110 pound beagle so I sent him outside.  He was literally outside for about a minute and decided to be as dramatic as possible and lay in the backyard like an overheated dog.  I thought maybe he fell on the steps, but every few seconds he would look back at the kitchen window to see if I was there and then throw his head back on the ground!

I went outside and told him to please get up and stop acting like he was outside for hours.  I didn’t want anyone to call animal control! As the Salisbury steak cooked Rufus kept an eye pan.  Being that it was Father’s Day I wanted my dad to eat first, but as usual the Four Legged conned their way into enjoying a plate first!
