Day 4 of the Two Legged and the Four Legged cohabiting! The Two Legged’s bedroom has hardwood floors so we grabbed a small carpet to add some comfort to the room. Rufus and Riley were unsure of this new addition as they like to approve all changes! Each bag that has gone up the steps had to be thoroughly inspected by at least one of the dogs!
At night my little stage 5 clinger, Rufus, never leaves my side. I woke up and heard him crying. I couldn’t find him and started to panic that he was stuck under something. Rufus has a tendency of thinking he is a lap dog, not 110 pounds of crazy beagle! He doesn’t realize his size and gets stuck under furniture frequently. I finally narrowed down the sound of his whining…
Rufus had gone upstairs to Vont’s room, but couldn’t get himself into his bed and was crying. Vont took his bedspread from college and made a “dog bed” on the floor for Rufus. I heard him talking to the dogs about the new bed and he even gave them a few pillows! There are so many people that find my Four Legged difficult, but with just a little love you can win this group over in a heartbeat!
