And Then I Blinked

I literally just dropped them off at college.  And in a blink of an eye the Two Legged are officially sophomores and home for the summer!  Bailey is beyond thrilled and immediately joined Vont in bed last night.  She pretended she was going to sleep on the couch and within about 60 seconds was up those stairs peeking her bed in his door waiting for an invite!

This morning I had an early meeting and needed her to go outside.  I tried using hand signals to encourage her to get out of his bed.  She rolled over and stuck her head under the pillow.  I really didn’t want to wake him on his first morning to sleep in, but of course Bailey refused to leave the bed quietly!  This dog is in love.  I don’t know how she will cope when he goes back to college in the fall.

Rufus enjoys going through his bags.  There are apparently a lot of unknown smells and he is putting that hound nose to work!  Rufus is still my Stage 5 Clinger, but he likes to keep an eye on what his buddy is up to.

I will have to keep this short as I have an exciting night ahead of me…We made it all the way through freshman year without any broken iPhones which is quite a feat for teenagers!  Somehow between the truck and house we have lost a phone.  I have been through every box, bag, and crevice of the truck.  We can’t find this phone!  The only other thought is that it fell out of the truck at the grocery store.  Off to the grocery store I shall go…
