About a week ago I thought there might be a mouse downstairs because I found empty candy wrappers. I was so brave and went to the store and bought a trap that supposedly would trap the mouse and I would not see anything. While setting the trap it snapped back and almost gave me a heart attack! I am so not designed for these kind of home owner activities!
After a few days I couldn’t find any signs of the mouse and the traps were still all set. Yesterday I went to put a load of laundry in the washer and there was a mouse stuck in the stationary tub in the basement. I very calmly backed away from the sink and yelled for my Four Legged. I yelled “there is a mouse and I need help!” No one came. I went upstairs to find all 3 of them asleep in my office!! Seriously??? You try to kill anything and everything that moves…at least one of you could come downstairs and help me!
I did not have the courage to pick the mouse up. I was worried that if I tried to get the mouse into a container and dropped the container that the mouse would be loose again! Rufus came to the top of the steps while I was trying to devise a plan to let me know he was ready for dinner. I went back downstairs and after multiple failed attempts decided that the easiest thing to do is just move! Luckily I know some awesome realtors…
Just kidding! I did what any scaredy cat would do. I called my neighbor to come save us! The mouse is gone. I am really hoping he was here by himself or we really will have to move!
