Easter Sunday with the Four Legged

I held out until 10am, but had to break into the Peeps (aka Breakfast of Champions!)  I worked for a few hours Easter morning and then we headed to Grammie’s house for an Easter Egg Hunt & Dinner.  There are not a lot of photos from the Egg Hunt because I spent most of the hunt trying to show Bailey and Rufus how to hunt eggs.  Considering they are both part hound and the eggs were stuffed with milk bones you would have thought they would have picked it up faster!  I think Rufus found one egg, but quit hunting in search for the ham!  Bailey waited for Riley to find eggs, open them, and then share the treats!  There were 40 eggs for myself and The Four Legged to find.  Luckily Aunt Jackie helped or we would still be there!

Riley found two special eggs…one with his name that was filled with his favorite candy and the “Golden Egg” which contained an egg within an egg!  That will teach Uncle Eddie to shake eggs and think they contain milk bones!

After 3 walks and Easter Dinner we opened our Easter Baskets from the Bunny!  The baskets were in the family room the entire day, but The Four Legged were too focused on “Easter happenings” to realize the baskets were filled with goodies for them!  Once they realized all of their favorite treats were within arms reach we had to move fast to ensure no one ate an entire package.

I loaded their goodies into the back of the truck for safe keeping and we headed for home.  This was the first time all 3 dogs have traveled together since Christmas and they did wonderful.  Rufus didn’t knock anyone over or have any panic attacks!  Last night I was able to get a solid 4 hours of work done as The Four Legged were passed out!  Bailey is still obsessed with the blue bunny toys and has deemed them all hers!

Hope you Had a Happy Easter!
