I don’t know which is louder, the four legged barking or me begging them to stop barking! The sun is shining and there is no keeping this group inside. I am thrilled they can finally play in the yard, but the noise level is out of control! Apparently we are making up for lost time and just sitting in the backyard barking and howling. I have gone into the yard at least 4 times to bring someone inside before a neighbor complains. It has been a tough winter, but we don’t need to act like this is the first time we have been in the backyard!
I had a conference call at 10am and bribed them with treats to be quiet. They made it 6 minutes. Luckily the call was only 8 minutes! I tried desperately to work this afternoon, but didn’t make much progress. For the past two hours I have let dogs in, let dogs out, let dogs in, & let dogs out. At one point I was in the family room and heard barking. I said to Riley “is that one of ours?” Riley looked at me like “It is always one of ours!”
I just filled Kongs with peanut butter to buy myself 10 minutes of peace. To whomever invented the Kong–I Love You!
