Taking a Nap

I am on the mend, but decided to take doctor’s orders and lay down for a little bit yesterday.  I was tired and thought maybe a short nap would do the trick.  I curled up in bed and was quickly joined by all of the Four Legged.

Rufus and Bailey were using my shoulder as a pillow.  As the minutes ticked away Rufus decided we could share my pillow and Riley was using my legs as a perch!  The nap lasted about 6 minutes.  As cute as these photos are, when you can’t breathe having 3 Four Legged with a combined weight of 240 pounds lay on you just doesn’t work!

I don’t know if it was because they are not use to me laying down in the afternoon or if they can just tell that something is wrong, but I now have three Stage 5 Clingers instead of my usual two! I am exhausted as I am working this afternoon, but I think I will enjoy a cup of tea and hold out for bedtime.  There is a higher probability of getting a good spot in the bed at night!  If anyone is ever lonely in bed please feel free to borrow one of the Four Legged!
