Even though their tummies are more than full they “turned on” those eyes to beg for a Soup Bone! Bailey was a little under weight when I brought her home, but she has easily gained a few pounds and probably needs an extra walk after this holiday weekend! Rufus discovered the additional refrigerator at Grammie’s house so getting him out of their basement was a struggle. I think he might be moving in!
There is plenty of dog food at the house, but when someone is hungry they immediately head for the treat drawer. You can’t give one dog a treat without two more showing up so we go through a lot of goodies! I constantly mention “if you’re hungry there is dog food in the kitchen.” The looks of disgust are hilarious. How can I possibly offer them dog food when we have milk bones, jerky, snausages, soup bones, and much more! Rufus’ favorite Maro Bones are out of stock online so he will be one unhappy camper later this week. I am trying to ration them, but it is a losing battle…
The weather is cool in PA, but warm enough to fire up the grill so the Four Legged are going to be excited for dinner tonight! They will be less excited when they realize that they have to share!
