Friday Nights are for High School Football! Rufus’ favorite Uncle Eddie is a Wide Receivers Coach so I spend my Friday nights cheering on the team and enjoying Nachos! Riley spends the evening at my mom’s house trying to remember what it was like to be an only child! The Big Dogs are left in charge of the house. Anytime I am leaving them for more than a few minutes I go over the rules and explain when I will be back. Yes I talk to the Four Legged…if you haven’t figured out by now that I am a “crazy dog lady” I can’t help you! The average dog understands about 50 words, but if you talk to them using simple, short phrases they can actually learn 300+ phrases.
We had a quick security briefing before I left for the game. As you can see from their faces the four legged take their duties very seriously! When I return home Rufus has to hug me and “go over” everything that happened while I was gone.
Uncle Eddie’s Team won so we are heading to round two of the play-offs. Rufus will be thrilled to hear he has another Friday night on his own! Don’t tell him I eat Nachos without him! Enjoy your weekend!
